Hygge & Happiness
Copenhagen is a place that will give you a warm and fuzzy feeling in your heart and will immediately make you feel at home. Many bikes, colourful canals, and perfectionist architecture and design contribute to its charm and its status as one of the most liveable cities in the world.
Explore Copenhagen through the Danish concept of hygge, a feeling of cosiness shared with friends and family in a comfortable setting. Embark on a canal cruise tour and enjoy a few hygge stops along the way such as Danish pastry & coffee stop, Aquavit tasting at the colourful Nyhavn canal or a private party stop at a beach bar. Experience the very essence of hygge in Tivoli Gardens, the second oldest amusement park in the world. Try out the rides, enjoy delicious food or just marvel at the beautiful gardens.
Modern & Green Copenhagen
When it comes to sustainability, Copenhagen ranks high among other world capitals. Its extensive bicycle infrastructure and electricity generated from windmills are some of the means used to make Copenhagen carbon-neutral by 2025. Discover the innovative spirit of Copenhagen through its green solutions and smart usage of public space and buildings. Climb up the Copenhill, a unique waste-to-energy plant that was modified into a “mountain” with a ski slope.
Enjoy delicious food at Reffen Street Food Market located at a former shipyard which is now becoming one of the most up-and-coming areas of the city. Visit Østergro, the first Danish rooftop far organized as community-supported agriculture. Mount a bike and head to Nørrebro, the most ethnically diverse neighborhood of Copenhagen. Pass through Red Square and Superkilen, unconventional square exhibiting objects characteristic to many different countries.
One of our inside tips when it comes to sustainable ways of transportation – the bike taxi so-called rickshaw can be booked for a single transfer as well as a part of a tour.
Scandinavian Foodies
There is never been a better way to get to know a city than by eating your way through the Danish capital. Restaurants like Noma and Relae made headlines years ago and brought global attention to the Danish cuisine. Young cooks have taken charge of legendary venues or branched out to open places of their own. They are having new food inventions & new stories to tell.
Experience the authentic Copenhagen through its delicious food while listening to stories about its fascinating history. Depending on your group requirements the tastings & venues can be combined during day or night to make to give you the best “Taste” of Copenhagen.
Royal Vikings
Sjælland or Zealand is the largest and most populated island in Denmark. Except for Copenhagen, Zealand is abundant with picturesque cities and sights. North Zealand is home to grandiose castles such as Frederiksborg, Fredensborg, Kokkedal and Kronborg castle, the latter being famous as “Elsinore”, the setting of Shakespeare’s play Hamlet.
Just half an hour from Copenhagen is Roskilde, a beautiful town that was the capital of Denmark until 1443. Stroll around the old town, visit the Roskilde Cathedral, visit the Viking museum and take a tour in a reconstructed Viking ship. To the south of Zealand, you will find Møns Klint, a stretch of white chalk cliffs some of which fall a sheer 120 m to the sea.
